Does Cochrane evidence really have an impact? New project aims to find out.

In order to investigate how much of an impact Cochrane evidence is having on real-world health decisions, The Canadian Cochrane Network and Centre is collecting examples that demonstrate how the work of The Cochrane Collaboration has had a real impact on clinical practice, policy decisions and health research. They would like you to tell your stories: what happened, how it happened, who was affected, and most importantly, why the change was important.

For your convenience, we have created a template for each of the three
categories below, followed by brief examples of what an entry might look
like. These templates can be viewed at
www.cochrane.mcmaster.ca/pdf/exampletemplate.pdf. You should write up your
example as a brief, structured abstract, perhaps similar to an entry for the
Cochrane Libraries Group Prize (see
http://www.cilip.org.uk/groups/hlg/cochrane2.htm). Your example should be
less than 400 words long (excluding references), but you can attach
additional data and more detailed articles or references if you wish. We
have provided structured headings for each of the three categories to help
you include the relevant information.
