| Improving Access to Information Resources Улучшение доступа к информационным ресурсам | Our Institute enjoys a long date tradition of access experience to medical information resources.Notwithstanding that, our participation in LRC Project has enhanced the contact to reliable information.As a wide range LAN exists in the Institute, connecting all the departments and also the regional Health care directories spread over all the territory of Albania, and we could use email and other means to spread all the information provided by AIHA, WHO, CDC and many other organisms with which our Institute cooperates through common Projects and agreements.Our staff participates in regularly scheduled seminaries on how to use comps and Internet and use specific software to solve problems related to epidemics control, vaccination campaigns, microbiological problems, genetically transmitted diseases, cancer, and also for environmental monitoring and environment impact on health, problems related to envinromental protection policies in country scale etc..Those seminaries are organized in the framework of existing projects or subsidized by our Institute.All the invaluable information AIHA mailing lists have provided has been directed to the staff according to their needs.We have constantly exchanged our experience with other Institutions both within country and abroad. |
| Promotion of EBP Внедрение научно обоснованной практики | All the senior researchers of each of the departments of the Institute meet regularly once a month to review the standarts and algorithms to solve priority problems, and they have close contact with updates for EBP provided by LRC Project and also by international partnership involved in each particular project.Those groups are headed by department chiefs and the most qualified people.The topics are all that pertains to health care policies determined by the present state of affairs monitored by our labs .Those topics are consulted through mailing lists, chat sessions and are compared with the similar programs in neighbouring countries and also in the countries worldwide facing similar situations.The feedback of those studies is reported to the Ministry of Health and it constantly helps in decision-making. |

examples Научно обоснованная практика - другие примеры | Of a special interest has been the consultation of selected websites suggested in AIHA mailing lists, and in Evidence based practice manuals and sites which has helped us a lot in reviewing our current practices in infective disease control. Many new algorithms have been adopted ousing critical appraisal.We highlight the role of such consultation( www.hivmedicine.com) in formulating the HIV monitoring and containment strategy for all the country, which has been formally approved by the Council of Ministers, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, and also for the prevention of possible outbreaks of SARS and bird flu in our country (Kamps&Hoffmann texts. |
