| Improving Access to Information Resources Улучшение доступа к информационным ресурсам | The Center has developed a timetable of Internet access for the staff. Each doctor must periodically work with internet resources. All of them are subscribed to online scientific journals. Most of them are members of professional associations. |
| Promotion of EBP Внедрение научно обоснованной практики | The Center serves as a training facility for provincial clinics and a residency facility for graduate and undergraduate students of the Yerevan State Medical University. Once a month/2 months the radiologists of the center conduct round table discussions, during which one/two of the radiologists introduce a presentation, based on an interesting/unusual case, innovation or a new trend in the sphere. Discussions and brain storming follow the presentation. The materials undergo thorough analyzis and the best materials of the year are presented in scientific round tables (regularly organized by the AAWC) or conferences/workshops held by other organizations. |
| Grants and Sustainability Гранты и самофинансирование | The Center has developed a number of approaches for fundraising along with the main USAID funding. We have a number of cooperation agreements with Big Business Companies, with Governmental institutions and International organizations. The Center provides free examinations, conducts free outreach missions to remote provinces and realizes training/educational programs through those agreements. |
| Databases and Information Systems Базы данных и информационные системы | The Center functions through a local network which connects all the departments of the facility. All the databases are maintained through an electronic patient record system. Regular monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports finalize and systematize the collected data. AAWC is currently developing a complex information maintaining system in cooperation with LYCOS, which will establish a new data recording and reporting system. |

Developments Другие родственные виды деятельности | The Center has "partner" experts in US, who periodically visit the Center and provide free services for the patients and professional on-site training for the staff. Partner expertise covers all the spheres of the AAWC activity and local doctors apply to the experts via E-mail anytime a consultation on a complicated case is required. |
